Meet our Board

Jasie Holm

Jasie was born in Lake Tahoe, California, the younger of two children, to Dan and Cathy Hill. Dan moved the family to Wendover in the early 80s. Jasie married Kurt Holm in 2000 and they now have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Hailey. Jasie is the owner of the Enola Gay Café, which opened in 2007, and the co-owner of Enola Gay Catering, LLC, which was established in 2009. Jasie went to the University Of Nevada, Reno, where she studied Business Management. Golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling, cooking – and, of course, dogs –  are a few of Jasie’s favorite pastimes. Between family, businesses, and her city council role, she stays extremely busy and very involved in the community of Wendover, Nevada.

Frank Sharp

Frank Sharp is a long-time businessman, and in 2009 founded The JAS Foundation. The foundation serves the needs of the unfortunate and forgotten in the Wendover, Nevada area. To help meet its goal of serving the unfortunate, the JAS Foundation has incorporated into these areas of services: a charity thrift store, Joseph’s Food Pantry (food bank), a community resource center, Wendover Resource Council, the Salvation Army, Red Cross, and the West Wendover Senior Center. In February of 2018, WendRover Pet Connection became an initiative of the JAS Foundation. This initiative began after Frank became aware of the grave need after learning from several community members that pets were being euthanized in the Wendover city shelter.  Frank enlisted the support of fellow board members to help lead the charge and do their best to NOT allow another innocent dog or cat to die in our city limits. Hence WendRover Pet Connection was born.

Shellie Christensen

Shellie moved to Wendover in 1984, and married in 1988. The Christensen’s have four active children, who keep them very busy.  Shellie is also the Flight Program Director for Peppermill Casinos, Inc., and has been since 2003.  Shellie has a passion for dogs, but she enjoys helping all animals and is thrilled to be on the founding board of WendRover Pet Connection. Shellie is Frank’s daughter and she also assists with the JAS Foundation duties, as that nonprofit has been growing by leaps and bounds.

Brenda Claiborne

Brenda was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, and moved to Nevada six years ago. She and her family have lived in Wendover, Nevada since 2016. Brenda also serves on The JAS Foundation Board, and is the Acting Executive Director. Brenda is a business owner, realtor, and community leader.  She has been married to Rob for 13 years, and they have three furbabies who are spoiled rotten. Her passions are connecting, mentoring and volunteering— being a strong voice for those who may not be heard. Her hobbies are traveling, off-roading, community involvement, and spending time with her pack.

WendRover Pet Connection
