Success Stories (adoptions)

The most rewarding part of WendRover Pet Connection is that we often follow the journey of the animals that we encounter. Whether it be through being claimed by an owner, taken in by a rescue or foster or best of all them finding their loving forever home! As those stories are shared with us we would like to share them with you!

Dover came to the shelter in early November. She was never claimed by her owners in town. We listed her available for adoption or rescue and CAWS rescue in Salt Lake City reached out willing to help. Tracy a local volunteer offered to transport Dover to CAWS. We received an update from CAWS that Dover had been adopted! We are so excited for Dover and the life her has ahead of him!

This is Shadow!! Doesn’t he look so happy with his new forever friend! Shadow came to our local shelter and we could not locate his owners. We were in contact with many rescues and eventually, Shadow went to a rescue in Idaho called Pitbull Lives Matter Idaho, and they sent us this update!! We are so happy we could be a part in getting him a forever home!!
